About Me

This is the blog of a geekette entering her thirties and seriously considering the path of a single mother by choice. If you are thinking about the same thing, or looking for different perspective on the whole thing, this is the blog for you.

A little about me: I'm in my early thirties, single, geeky, living in the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia. I love Joss Whedon anything, have participated in the Society for Creative Anachronism, love reading science fiction/fantasy writing, and enjoy attending various geek conventions.  The last cake I made was dragon shaped. I made a muppet of Beaker to be my date to last New Year(love Beaker, he is my favorite muppet).

My current family include one lovely white fluff ball dog (Baylie), and a stream of foster animals as I work with various local groups.

I have two three years to prepare for the whole assisted reproduction journey, and this is the blog to document that prep as well as how the actual IUI/IVF goes, if I get there. I'm one of those Research Everything people, so I figured I'd share my journey.
